Rio de Janeiro

Dominated by the Cristo Redentor, Rio de Janeiro mixes urban madness, long sandy beaches and green hills; colonial architecture, ultra-modern buildings and shacks miserable; rich, poor and bohemian ... A city of contrasts that lives to the rhythm of samba, football and crazy nights, reaching its peak at the time of the famous carnival. Be enchanted by the effervescence here, still keeping in mind that crime is a scourge.

City center

Centro, the oldest neighborhood in Rio, concentrates the historical remains of the city: the imperial palaces and baroque churches in the Praça XV, theater and museums Cinelândia cultural visits ... do not miss! The past is nevertheless closely related to the present, with the rise of modern towers (including Largo da Carioca, business district) and the urban life that prevails there. This mosaic of all, the special atmosphere, perfectly combines modernity and history.

 Corcovado

Corcovado Peak granite 710 m high, is a must, located in the Parque Nacional da Tijuca. To get there, the best is to take the electric train (departure Rua Cosme Velha), which crosses the largest urban forest in the world. Getting there by car or hire a taxi is also possible. At the top is the Cristo Redentor. The view is breathtaking!
